Basil Pesto from The Brothers Moon

Hey there! My name is Devon, I'm a Girl Scout trying to complete my gold award and I wanted to spread awareness about eating locally. Something we rarely think about is where our food comes from, and the carbon footprint we create when we buy foods that have to travel long distances. What we really need are foods that our good for the environment, good for our bodies, and good for our taste buds!

For today's entry we have a basil pesto recipe from Chef William Mooney of The Brothers Moon in Hopewell. What a great way to kick off our blog, The Brothers Moon supports sustainable farming and local businesses!
